ROTHERHAM UNITED - BLACKPOOL

I have to side with the visitors here.

Following the announcement of the "super casino" license to Manchester, Blackpool's form slumped badly. The seaside resort had been widely expected to get the decision and this was devastating to the town and club's long term development.

They seem finally, to have put that disappointment behind them and have got their season back on track, they are unbeaten in 6, with 4 wins. Having edged back into a play-off spot, they can put some distance between theirselves and the chasing pack. Indeed with this, the first of 6 very win-able fixtures and the 2nd and 3rd placed clubs meeting at the weekend, a late run at an automatic place, has not yet been ruled out.

The Seasiders have won 9 times on the road this season, a total only bettered by leaders Scunthorpe and will be looking to push that total into double figures.

Rotherham are in big trouble, the administration points deduction they suffered has been too big a hurdle to overcome and they are 10 points from safety, with games running out.

The draw has absolutely no value for them and they will be forced forward, leaving space for the stronger visiting players to exploit. Only Crewe have conceded more home goals and they have lost 10 of their last 13.

Very few draws anyway for the Millers and they struggle to keep a clean sheet, the only recent one coming against Brentford, who are hardly prolific and a total of 15 conceded in 7 starts, tells it's own story.

An away win is very likely and is competitively priced.
