I feel this match will be very close and the draw would be my selection. Neither will want to lose with region giants Mexico still to play and will be happy to take their chances against Cuba, especially with two 3rd placed teams qualifying for the next stage.However, I am going to play safe and take Panama with the handicap start. They have made a lot of progress in recent seasons and have a proven goalscorer in Blas Perez, who has taken the Copa Libertadores by storm this season and is on his way to Spain. He missed the Copa semi final at Boca Juniors last night, a sure sign that Panama are taking this tournament very seriously.
They have plenty of experience of this stadium (New Jersey) from 2005, when they eventually made the final, losing to the host nation.
