Two very nice winners on the blog yesterday, with Cagliari and Liverpool both easing home, which makes 68 winners from 104 selections, since December 23rd, on GOWI alone. That is over a 65% success rate and includes some very juicy priced winners amongst them.

Ernie Els has not won in the US since 2004, but has decided to play a lot more golf this year and will play every event leading up to the US Masters. He arrived here early, likes the course and has prepared well, he claims to be striking the ball extremely well and is certainly hitting it a long way. Ernie has also hit a lot of greens in regulation this week, if he could sink a few putts today, he could come from behind and win this.
That is how I think he will win his next strokeplay tournament, something about leading has obviously got inside his head, he was 6th on tour last year for final round scoring and he is the player that many in this field will be keeping an eye on. He is just 3 strokes off the pace, which I feel , for him, is the ideal position and we can certainly chance a little at a decent price.

Els played almost flawless golf, took the lead at halfway and secured a famous victory, to say nothing of a 35 point profit !
