PARIS TENNIS ........

Going to take a look at the two late matches, in Paris today.

First on court is, Justine Henin-Emilie Loit, this is the Belgian superstar's first appearance of the year, having missed out on the Australian tournaments, due to personal problems. She has now officially announced the split from her husband Pierre-Yves Hardenne and chosen to revert to her maiden name.

Not sure if her game will be 100%, it probably doesn't need to be. However, only the needy and the greedy, would choose to back her at the 1.09 on offer. It is just as hard to recommend backing Loit, who stumbled to an opening round win, needing 8 match points to defeat Eleni Daniilidou, even at the massive 11.5 on offer. So I suggest we lay a little of Henin to win in straight sets, if she is a little rusty, her French opponent may be able to steal a set and at the odds on offer, we are not going to do any damage.

In the Svetlana Kuznetsova- Katarina Srebotnik match, we will have to continue to oppose the Russian, until she proves her well being.

After pulling out of Hong Kong ( bronchitis) and Sydney ( breathing problems), she failed to impress in the Australian Open, where her movement looked laboured.

In Sydney, Kuznetetsova was actually a set down to Kata (6-2) when she retired. That should have given the Slovenian a little confidence, in what was, their only meeting to date, she is consistent and pretty sure to produce her game. We are not quite so certain about Svetlana.

lay 5 points Henin to beat Loit 2-0 sets 1.28 Betfair ( max exp 1.4 points)

2.5 points Srebotnik to beat Kuznetsova 3.15 Betfair // 3.05 Pinnacle

Good Luck.
