Two matches, very quickly.
I like Sebastian Grosjean, who's game looks a little ahead of Jarko Nieminen's, at this stage of the season. The diminutive Frenchman, comfortably won their only previous encounter on a fast surface and showed his well being in the Australian Open, by beating both Rochus brothers, eventually losing to David Nalbandian in 5 tough sets.
Nieminen has no real record here and lost to another Frenchman, Gilles Simon in the first round last year, giving up a massive 13 break points.
Grosjean is 14-7 in Marseille, the French tend to do well on home soil and he should make it 15 today.
Heard through the grapevine that Mario Ancic is not 100%, have not been able to confirm that, he should still be too strong for Andreas Seppi, who is priced at 7.10. The Italian has had a very poor time of it this year and even at such huge odds, it is hard to suggest more that a nominal wager, but I find it impossible to pass completely.
3 points Grosjean to beat Nieminen 1.77 Betfair
1/2 points Seppi to beat Ancic 7.10 Betfair.
