CHAMPIONSHIP: WATFORD - HULL CITY
The
visitors are coming off a fine win at Nottingham Forest, but they have
been very inconsistent this season and one good performance for them,
has tended to be followed by a poor
one. They have posted a LWLWLWLW sequence on the road and hopefully,
that will continue today. They have been comprehensively outplayed by
Burnley and Cardiff City recently and they are very much a work in
progress.
We have spoken a lot about Watford both pre season and recently LINK
and things are getting a little exciting. They beat Barnsley 4-1 last
week, to make it four wins and 18 goals scored in five starts ( they led
by two gaols in the other, which ended 2-2) and after the last win,
opposition
manager Keith Hill, who is very much of the tell it as you find it
variety said “there was nothing even about that game,we
rode our luck with respect to the first half. We made some horrendous
decisions, in and out of possession, so the best team won. I have to
congratulate Gianfranco because he has got an excellent side.”
He finished with “There is a possibility
that this was the best performance that I’ve seen from an opposition
team against us. I thought they were excellent in every department.”
The
big squad and rotation policy that Zola has been using means he is
always bringing in fresh players and that should serve him especially
well today, both teams will have played 9 matches in the last five weeks
and this will be City's fourth of six on the road and all at tough
venues, Cardiff, Birmingham, Forest and now Watford. Hosts to edge this
one and underline their promotion credentials. 1.25 units
Watford -0.25 ball 2.00 asian line.
Good Luck.
