I am taking both away teams on the asian handicap.
We discussed Cardiff's fall from grace in midweek, that post can be viewed here .... tp://ubet2win.blogspot.com/2007/04/championship-burnley-cardiff.html
Following that defeat, they have now won just six of 27 starts, an abysmal record for a top 9 side. They are likely to be unchanged today, which means thet are still short of quality in midfield.
Stoke have assembled a good quality squad and although they will miss Jon Parkin, who has scored 3 in 3 and now returned to Hull City, after his loan period ended, look to be timing their promotion push perfectly. They have won their last 3, scoring 9 goals and are now just a single point off the play-off spots.
Cardiff are now a further four points adrift and will be forced to seek the win, which should leave plenty of space for the visitors to exploit. I expect an open game and an away win.
Likewise there is no reason for Rotherham, who could be relegated today, or Carlisle 4 points off the play-offs, to sit back, only a win will do for both.
The visitors arrive in confident mood, in their best form of the season, they have won their last 4, with a 12-1 goal difference. The return from suspension of Zigor Aranalde and Luke Joyce should give them a boost and I feel they will collect the 3 points and keep their promotion hopes alive.
