CHAMPIONSHIP .....BURNLEY - CARDIFF

Cardiff have now dropped to 9th place in the Championship, following a run of just one point from 4 starts, infact, they can claim only a narrow win over Norwich in their last 6 and have been leaking goals.

They now sit 3 points and 11 goals away from a play-off place, which, when we delve a little further into their results, is quite amazing, as they have won only 6 of their last 26 league starts ! They will have to look for the win today and that could give the hosts plenty of space to exploit.

Burnley are a revitalised side, after the midweek demolition of Plymouth, they went to St Andrews at the weekend and defeated Birmingham, putting a big hole in the host's promotion hopes.

Here we have two teams in very different spirits. Burnley are cock-a -hoop after ending a dismal run in such fantastic style and can banish any lingering relegation worries with 3 points today, in front of what is certain to be a big holiday crowd.

The visitors are short in midfield with Walton and Scimeca both missing and where Djemba-Djemba has been in top form for Burnley in recent starts. Cardiff will be forced to play a couple of players carrying knocks, including top scorer Michael Chopra, who is on a fairly long scoreless run.

They showed little in the weekend home loss to Sheffield Wednesday and I have to side with the Clarets.

4 points Burnley -1/4 ball asian line 2.175 ( ko 16.00 cet). Result 2-1 + 4.7 pts

Good Luck.
