Last week started very well, with excellent early profits, which I then proceeded to give back at an alarming rate, before once more "striking the front" on Sunday.
The important thing is that we did make a profit, but it could have been so much better and I do feel a little disappointed. The breakdown is as follows ........

You may have noticed, that was week 52, the blog has been running for a year now, to be honest it seems like longer, the first post was on March 31 2006, so we missed the anniversary on Saturday.
A few stats, there have been well over 1300 posts, we have managed to make a profit in 39 of those 52 weeks and GAMBLING AND OTHER WHOLESOME INTERESTS has received over 250,000 visits, for which I thank you.
We have Milan-Bayern and PSV-Liverpool in the Champions League today, plus a lot of lower league action in England and Scotland, which is our bread and butter, so plenty to get stuck into.
I will be back a little later this morning with my first selection, everything will be online much earlier today, yesterday was chaotic.
