I am a little later than promised, so will make this quick.
Going for Nicole Vaidisova to defeat Ana Ivanovic. The Czech youngster has her big serve in fine fettle, producing plenty of aces and easy points, she is looking to reach the semi finals here for the second year running.
The Australian hard courts obviously suit her, she reached the finals of both the junior grand slam singles and doubles events in 2004 and the 4th round ot the main event last year, losing to the eventual winner, Amelie Mauresmo.
Vaidisova is about to debut a range of apparel for Reebok next week and any additional publicity will be welcome to both player and sponsor.
If she can keep her first serve percentage up around the 70% level, that she has been hitting this week, it should be enough to take out Ivanovic.
