There is a MASSIVE London derby today ..........

... no, not West Ham-Fulham, but Brentford- Leyton Orient.

The Bees are 6 points adrift of the promised land of 20th place, the O's are just shy on goal difference. Griffin Park will be no place for shrinking violets, time to battle for every ball.

Regular readers are aware, I try to stay unbiased, at least in betting terms ,where mighty Brentford are concerned, but I fancy them today.

Not sure that they/we can stay up, it would take a herculean effort, but the recent signs are a little more encouraging.

In the narrow 1-0 loss at Bournemouth last week, Scott Fitzgerald's side were very unlucky to come away empty handed, claiming 54% possession and winning the shot count 15-10.

The squad has been strengthened with the loan signing of three players, giving the coach some real options for the first time, all started and impressed last week and will make home debuts today. The players know that this is a cup final, as will every game be, between now and the end of the season and that many of them are playing for their futures.

Orient are on a good run and have lost only once in 6 starts and will travel in a confident mood. However, they have two key players suspended today, in central defender John Mackie and striker Gary Alexander, both are pretty much ever presents. With midfielder Luke Guttridge returning to Southend after a loan deal, the East Londoners have lost the spine of their side, without these three. They may also be a little rusty having not played for 12 days.

The Bees to win.

4 points Brentford -1/4 ball asian line 2.11.

Good Luck.
