On an unbelievably quiet Thursday, we had some excellent information on the blog. Betting wise, we had 2 winners, Lucie Safarova won in straight sets and Sacramento beat Chicago by 9 points. The NBA game was amazing, as it went almost exactly to plan, Martin and Bibby were big scorers, Gordon was restricted to just 7 points, it was like we had written the script !
A couple of winners "between the lines", Corinthians won 5-0 ( of course) and Scotland, the market move we highlighted, won 2-1. The Scots seem to have a crop of very promising youngsters, at most levels.
Very nice quarter final line up in Paris, Mauresmo-Chakvetadze/ Henin-Golovin/ Petrova-Safina/ Kuznetsova-Safarova, the sponsors must be delighted. I will be back later this morning with my views on these matches, pretty sure that we will be getting involved.
On the football front, plenty of domestic action, with matches from Germany, France, England and the Netherlands, so very much a typical Friday. Plenty for us to get stuck into.
Please check back later.
