SCUNTHORPE UNITED - BRISTOL CITY

Vital game in front of the SKY cameras at Glanford Park tonight.

Both are pressing for one of the automatic promotion places. City's 18 match unbeaten run came to an end, when they lost at home to local rivals, Cheltenham Town, last midweek. Boss Gary Johnson, immediately cancelled the planned day off and had the team in, to go through the videos and sort out, what went wrong. They created 22 scoring chances in that game, so perhaps it was, just one of those days.

Scunthorpe have been carrying several injuries, but have continued to pick up results and are unbeaten in 8 starts, although 4 of these were draws and 6 matches were against teams in the bottom 3rd of the table. However, the club have announced some dramatic news this morning,Marcus Williams, probably their best defender and Dave Mulligan, have been suspended for a breach of club discipline and will not be considered for selection tonight.

This leaves United very short at the back and with morale at a very low ebb, ahead of what supporters are calling, the most important league game in the club's history.

I have to side with the visitors under the circumstances, latest news is that they may also be boosted by the return of prolific striker, Phil Jevons, which would be a huge plus.

4 points Bristol City + 1/4 ball asian line 1.93.

Good Luck.
