A very quick post, to cover today's ATP tennis.
In Delray Beach, I am going to chance a little and it will be small, on Vince Spadea, to defeat a tired looking, Tommy Haas.
The German had a very good Australian Open and probably, would rather have his feet up on a sun lounger, than be playing this week, especially after such a long flight to Florida.
Spadea likes it here, he lives locally and has two semi and one final appearances to his name, guess this would be his favourite tournament.
The price is very nice, the only reason I am betting small is the h2h record, which Haas leads
7-1, infact, the only two sets the American has taken, were in his lone win. However, he will never find a better time to play Haas and our selection, did have plenty of break points in their only previous meeting here .
I also like a blog favourite, Arnaud Clement, to defeat Marcos Baghdatis in Zagreb, he won their only previous encounter, which also came on carpet, in Lyon. That match looked fairly close and there were plenty of break points for both players, but the Frenchman dominated on second serve and won far more points, than the scoreline would suggest. Think he is value.
1 point Spadea to beat Haas 4.30 Betfair.
2.5 points Clement to beat Baghdatis 2.26 Betfair.
Back shortly.
