LENS-BORDEAUX

Sunderland and Palace obliged this afternoon, but Northampton let us down, despite taking a half time lead, Barnet, who this writer could not see scoring, running in four second half goals.Anyway, still a profit.

On to the match in question.

I favour Lens to bounce back from the midweek defeat to Parma and take maximum points from poor travellers Bordeaux, who are the only side in the top half of the table with 5 away losses.

The hosts have gone 7 games in the league without defeat and have not lost at home in 11 months, a fantastic achievement, infact, they have lost just once in 36 home starts.

Bordeaux travel without three players and several others plus the coach have been struck by a virus of some kind, it is unclear exactly how badly they are affected, or even how many, whatever the extent, it can hardly be good news.

They have not won in 8 trips to the Felix-Bollaert stadium and that run looks set to continue.

4 points Lens -1/4 ball asian line 1.81.

Good Luck.
