..... Now I have heard it all.
Division 1 Bradford City have turned down a bid of up to £500k, for their 38 yo ( yes, that's thirty eight) striker, Dean Windass, from Wigan.
I have a lot of time for Dean, he is a proven goalscorer, but for a Premiership club to bid for a player that age, from a lower league team is amazing enough, but I find the fact that Bradford turned it down, absolutely astonishing.
My team would have tied him up in red ribbon and had him delivered to Paul Jewell's house. It does say a lot about the ambition of the side from Yorkshire though.
