I am interested in the "over" when Lazio host Palermo.
Last 4 h2h meetings have produced 20 goals at an average of 5.0 per game. The visitors opened with a 7 goal thriller and had a strength sapping win at West Ham just 3 days ago, they did a lot of chasing in that match and are sure to feel the effects, this early in the season.
Lazio are keen to put on a show today as Palermo took "their" UEFA cup spot, following the "match fixing scandal". They certainly warmed up nicely with a midweek friendly over a local amateur side, in which they scored 26 goals ! Both strikers scored six each and are nicely tuned up for today.
Palermo's flight from London was cancelled and they were delayed a day, forced to choose, I would have to say that Lazio's preparation was much better, but feel the "over" is the better option.
