Boss Paul Stimson, has added to the squad with very experienced defender, Mark Beard and he goes straight into the starting eleven, he is just what they need to tighten up the defence. The problems have not really been at the other end of the pitch, where they are averaging almost two goals per game.

Boro have looked very good in training this week, so what, I hear you cry, well I think these sessions are very important, you play one day, yet train on 4 or 5. You may remember during the World Cup, I reported that Ronaldo suddenly found form in training, he scored in the next two matches.

Opponents Stafford Rangers, have made a pleasing start to Conference life after gaining promotion last season and are currently 9 points ahead of Stevenage. However, big class difference between the two squads and those positions will be reversed, come the end of the season.
