Alan Pardew's Hammers played well at Everton and could easily have taken the spoils with a little more luck. They created plenty of chances and an enormous amount of corners, twelve in the first half alone !
Rather than be disappointed, they should take comfort from their performance.I hope Teddy Sheringham gets dusted off and some playing time this evening, yes he is old, but he has something missing in a lot of players half his age, a brain !
The loss of Arjan de Zeeuw, could be decisive, he has missed the last two and the Latics have conceded 7 goals, he leaves a gaping hole in central defence.
