The visitors have been playing well and creating many chances, without finishing teams off. In their 5 matches to date, they have managed a, division high, 80 shots on goal and hit the woodwork 5 times, both away games have ended 2-2.

Ipswich have also troubled the woodwork on four occasions, history strongly leans towards goals, 8 of the last 9 meetings having been "over".

Town will probably field 6 new signings, including Sylvain Legwinski and Jon Macken, in what looks a very offfensive line up and have a further 2 strikers, fit and ready to return to the squad.

Southampton pose plenty of goalscoring threat, with potential all over the field and significantly, they will be without two key central defenders. This game WILL produce plenty of goalmouth action and looks a very sound bet . Going to take the "over "2.25 goals on the asian line, but if you cannot bet that, even the 2.5 option looks good.
