SOUTHPORT ......

........ have plenty of problems tonight for the visit of Stevenage. Two players are out for sure, but my information is that five could well be missing and they will have big problems in defence.

I have been undecided about whether to take the away side, or go with the "over", feel sure that there will be goals, so finally sided with the latter.

After a terrible start Stevenage are unbeaten in 5 and have pretty much a full squad to choose from, the vastly experienced Steve Guppy, returns tonight and looks set to start.

Normally plenty of goals when these two take the field, Port are averaging 2.9 in the last 10 and Borough 3.5 per game, last two h2h meetings have both contained 5.

Young Stevenage striker Steve Morison, continues to earn plenty of praise and is looking to add to his total of 8 conference goals. Despite only playing a dozen or so games at this level, he is already getting attention from league clubs.

4 points over 2.5 goals Southport-stevenage 1.83 asian line, little higher on the exchanges.

Back shortly.

Good Luck.
