UEFA CUP ............. part 2

Tottenham are certainly giving the UEFA Cup priority and will field a very strong side tonight.

They have finally found some away form and just as importantly, some goal scoring form, with 14 in the last 4 starts. Braga are strong at home and have some decent european wins to their credit this season, but they are a class below the Londoners.

Spurs have already won on foreign soil at Bordeaux, Nice, Celta, Slavia Prague, Besiktas and Leverkusen, most of whom would be considered superior to their Portugese opponents.

We opposed Maccabi Haifa in the previous round with CSKA and came upstuck, we are on a recovery mission tonight and have to take them on with Espanol.

The Russians had enough chances to win several matches that night and the Israeli's will have to step up their game, if they are to avoid defeat this time. The Spanish side are in good form and have moved into 9th place in La Liga, playing with a lot of confidence. In addition to recent league wins at Osasuna and Celta, they won on the road in Europe at Livorno, Ajax and Sparta.

They should be too strong for their hosts and keep their 100% record alive.
