Bernd Schuster's Getafe side are having a wonderful season. They have a fine 7-5-1 home record, sit in 8th place in La Liga and are in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey.
Their last two home games, have seen them defeat Valencia 3-0 and draw 0-0 with Seville, last week they drew 1-1 at Real Madrid. So, that's three games against top 4 sides, in as many weeks, during which they remained unbeaten, with only one goal conceded.
A miserly defence is the key to their success, they have conceded 5 fewer than any other side in Primera and only 3 (!) in 13 home starts.
Recreativo have, argubly, had an even better season and sit in 7th, only behing Atletico on goal difference. However, they are without 3 key players today, including top scorer Florent Sinama Pongolle.
We can not expect many goals, but I have to favour the hosts.
