SERIE A .........
LIVORNO - SIENA
If Livorno want to stay in Serie A, they really need a win today against their Tuscan rivals, who look reasonably safe, at least for now, with 35 points.
Not sure that Siena can afford to do them a favour, but there has been some very strange talk going on this week, with the visitors claiming to have fairly limited ambitions from the derby, which is decidely odd.
That aside, with some very tough fixtures immediately ahead, this is make or break time for the hosts. They have never really replaced Lucarelli, but do have striking options, Tavano has done his share, but the others, especially the disappointing Diego Tristan need to step up, now is the time. I see one team looking for the win, the other being happy to sit back and frustrate, given the quote and respectitive motivation, I can only go one way.
6 points Livorno -1/4 ball 1.98 asian line.
I will be posting one further bet, a little later, in the free blog section of the new website, which you can view at www.predictuwin.com .
SUNDAY EARLY KICK OFF ...........
ENGLAND
JOHNSTONE'S PAINT TROPHY FINAL
GRIMSBY TOWN - MK DONS
I see this much closer than the bookmakers. Dons have had a great season and are very likely to be be playing at a higher level next season.
However, Alan Buckley, has turned Grimsby around big time and they will have huge ambitions for the next campaign. Buckley is very astute and will, no doubt ,have a plan to handle the threat of the imposing and athletic Dons.
From December 29th, until they qualified for this Wembley final, Grimsby played 16 maches and lost just once, winning ten. They like to get the ball down and play a passing game, which should pay dividends on the wide open spaces this afternoon.
In Peter Till, they have one of the better players in the division and he could thrive this afternoon, the former Birmingham player loves to run at defenders, so watch out for him, he should be in the number 7 shirt. Elsewhere, young defender Ryan Bennett, is already in the England U18 squad and is being tracked by Arsenal, Manchester United and probably every other club in the Premiership.
Grimsby will be a ghost town , with 25,000 travelling south to cheer on their heroes. This will be close and I have to take the team receiving the handicap start.
5 points Grimsby +1/2 ball 2.07 asian line.
Good Luck.

PREMIERSHIP .......
READING - BLACKBURN ROVERS
Fancy that we will see goals here. Last three meetings between these two have produced 15 goals, so , an average of five per game.
Reading have been involved in some very high scoring games this season and although, looking at the bare results, you might think that their matches have tightened up, there have still been a lot of chances at both ends of the pitch.
The hosts are still not safe yet and I think both will be looking for maximum points. Rovers play a pretty open style and have both scored and conceded in 12 of their last 17 starts. They will miss the suspended Chris Samba at the heart of their defence and this should make things easier for the home strikers.
At the other end of the pitch Blackburn have real threat and in Roque Santa Cruz, have an inform striker, three goals in his last two, who has scored 11 of his 18 goals this season on the road. He is a minor doubt, but should play and could be looked at in the anytime scorer market at circa 3.0.
5 points "over" 2.5 goals 2.11 asian line.
DERBY COUNTY - FULHAM FC
Fulham have not won away since I last wore short trousers, but will not get a better chance at hapless Derby. The hosts will not simply roll over and will also see this as a chance to get a win, however, to have any chance of survival, the visitors simply have to seek the win.
The performance at Newcastle aside, Roy Hodgson's side have played much better in recent weeks and certainly do not lack too much in confidence, despite their lowly league position, any side with five americans in the squad, will never lack in that respect. They do have a real goal threat up front and that gives them an edge over goal shy County, who have only managed 14 goals in 31 matches.
5 points Fulham -1/2 ball 2.40 general quote.
Good Luck.
UNITED ON THE MOVE ......
PRESTON NORTH END - SHEFFIELD UNITED
Two inform teams, infact, alongside Hull City, they are playing as well as anybody in the Championship. However, PNE have had a tough schedule and might just feel, that they have done enough for now.
United have won four in a row and Kevin Blackwell has got them on the move and playing to their full potential.Interestingly, they have their next two and four of their next five starts at home, so a win today and the playoff dream will be well and truly alive.
Blackwell has promised to approach this, exactly like a home game and to take the match to PNE, away win for me.
5.5 points Sheffield United level ball 2.29 asian line.
Good Luck.
CHAMPIONSHIP ......
I have previewed seven matches on the email service today and will put several of them on the blog through the afternoon.
IPSWICH TOWN - QPR
You might read elsewhere that Shefki Kuqi is a minor doubt for the hosts, my understanding is that he is very unlikely to start. This is a major problem , as Town are already without their two leading scorers in Walters and Counago, which leaves just one striker, who may have to start upfront alongside a midfielder. As, they are already short of options in the centre of the park, you can see that all is not ideal at Portman Road.
Rangers are in good form, have lost just once in eight and are scoring for fun, with three goals in each of their last three starts. They still have an outside chance of a playoff spot and so, will be going, all guns blazing for the win.
5 points QPR -1/2 ball 4.0 general quote.... 4.10 exchanges.
Good Luck.

TONIGHT'S FOOTBALL..........
I am putting three of my email selections online, all have been faily heavily gambled as you will note, with subscribers getting the real value.
However, these do not even include my strongest bet of the evening !
FRANCE
LIGUE 2
CHAMOIS NIORTAIS - LIBOURNE ST SEURIN
Many of you will know which way I am going in this one. Last week I wrote "In 15 matches since early November, they (Libourne) have lost only four, all away from home and by the odd goal, they deserved something, from at least three of those." They went on to beat high flying Troyes 2-0.
So, now they have sixteen strong performances in a row and despite their league position, are simply not a relegation side. They are stronger at home, but the same is true of virtually every side in this division. However, they cannot afford to lose this game, against a direct rival for survival, with the club immediately above them in the table, looking likely to win, more about that one later.
Certainly a trip to the stadium Rene- Gaillard no longer holds any fear, Niort after losing once in 40+ starts on home soil, have already tasted defeat nine times this season. They have just a single win in eleven starts and cannot keep a clean sheet, not having recorded one in 17 matches and conceding an average of two goals in each of their last ten games.
Therefore, it is hard not to see our heroes scoring and they have only conceded two goals twice, in 14 starts and those were at Nantes and Bastia, far stronger sides than they face this evening. Unlike many other teams across Europe, Libourne stayed loyal to their coach and he has got things right, let's hope that they both get their just reward this season. I do not see them losing tonight.
5.5 points Libourne +1/4 ball 1.95 asian line.... now 1.85
AMIENS SC - LE HAVRE AC
Amiens are not safe yet and would like to secure their Ligue 2 future, ahead of an upcoming and very win-able, cup quarter-final.They are pretty strong at home, where they have lost just three times and score an average of 1.5 goals per game.
Of course, it will not be easy to get something against the league leaders and best away side in the division, but Le Havre's motivation is questionable. No doubt they would like to be champions, but promotion is the only real target and they are now a massive 17 points clear of the 4th placed team. Surely even the most pessimistic of supporters, must be planning his trips to Lyon and Bordeaux next season.
Amiens have a good record in this fixture, winning 5 from 6 meetings here, with 4 clean sheets and have not lost in six home or away games, including a fine 2-2 draw in the reverse fixture, where they twice came from behind. I think that they will continue that sequence this evening.
5 points Amiens +1/4 ball 1.86 asian line.... now 1.65 !
DIJON FCO - GUEUGNON
Finally and very quickly, Dijon have continued to serve us well and they have put in seven good performances in a row, compared to what went before, that is title winning form !
They will fancy their chances against a neighbour that they normally beat, I say normally, because their only loss in recent meetings, came by a stunning 4-0 margin in the reverse fixture. That was one of Gueugnon's only two wins this season and really hurt Dijon, who are out for revenge big time.
Hosts are in much better shape now and a win will put them in a strong position to secure their Ligue 2 survival. They currently lie just outside the drop zone, with the two teams immediately below them in the table, facing each other tonight.
Gueugnon have resigned themselves to a season in National and are winless on the road, where they have only managed a league low eight goals all season.
The win is all important, but given the thumping they received earlier this season, I feel they will push on if taking the lead, footballers have long memories !
5 points Dijon -1 ball 2.25 asian line... now 2.13.
Elsewhere, Stade de Reims have an unenviable trip to Montpellier who have not conceded a home goal for an amazing 853 minutes !
Good Luck.

THURSDAY UPDATE .......
I have always emphasized that the only aim of the service is to provide long term profits, no one can win all the time, that is impossible.
There will be extended winning spells, when it seems impossible to lose and just when your confidence is at a peak, the losers will come, that is called variance. It is something like a roller coaster ride, you can try to make the track a little smoother, but the highs and lows will come, the secret is that we spend more time at the top and limit our losses at the bottom.
After a very good run, I have spent the last ten days or so at the bottom, a few poor selections and some horrendous bad luck, including, seeming to pick every team in Europe that has been reduced to ten men !
Think that I am over the worst of it now, last couple of days have been much better and we even got a piece of luck yesterday, when China missed a penalty very late in the game. As we were on the draw @3.30, that would have been hard to take, especially after backing Crewe on Monday @ 5.10, they took the lead and held onto it until deep in injury time, when the referee waited for a 94th minute equaliser and then instantly blew for time. Yet another official off my Christmas card list !
Anyway, I fully expect a very good weekend now, when the rot stops, the winners normally flow, so make sure that you check in regularly to the blog.
I have only covered one match on the email service today, so that will have to be kept for subscribers.
In the next fortnight, I am planning a major gamble at huge odds and hope to pass it on to readers, after subscribers have "got on", providing the odds hold up, this is the most confident I have been about anything in the last five or six years, so keep in touch.
Good Luck.

SPAIN... LA LIGA
LEVANTE - VILLARREAL
Levante's mini revival has well and truely ended, almost before it began and 13 points adrift of safety, they are pretty much resigned to a return to Segunda.
They have lost heavily to most of the top sides recently and local rivals Villa, definitely fall into that category this season. The visitors have won 8 from 13 on the road, including their last three, the most recent of which was at Barcelona.
They have won their last two visits here, both by a two goal margin, took the reverse fixture easily and will be confident of opening up an eleven point lead over Seville in the race for a Champions League spot, against an opponent missing five starters.
That will see those eleven points as vital, with a very tough run of fixtures ahead, including meetings with Atletico and Seville.
This should be very open, goals are likely and an away win even more so.
6.5 points Villarreal 1.80 asian line.
Good Luck.
PREMIERSHIP ....
CHELSEA - ARSENAL
Chelsea are bound to be a little drained after the amazing 4-4 draw with Tottenham in midweek, but have the option to freshen up the side, with Mikel, Ballack and Anelka all available.
It is over four years since the Blues lost at Stamford Bridge, some 77 Premiership starts. The only significant difference since Jose left, is that they have yet to prove that they can win, the really big games
Arsenal have blown their lead at the top of the table, with four consecutive draws, like Chelsea, they remain very difficult to beat and let's be certain about one thing, with all the big teams set to meet again, the title is not going to be decided today.
We have Chelsea, who never lose at home, facing a Gunners side that has only tasted defeat once all season in the league.
For me, the draw is far and away the best bet on offer and a 1-1 scoreline looks the most likely outcome.
5 points draw 3.25 general quote.
1.5 points 1-1 correct score 6.50 +
Good Luck.

FRANCE ....
LIGUE 1 AUXERRE - ST ETIENNE
Central defence is a key position and I love to oppose teams that are missing both players from this key position. Such is the case for St Etienne this evening, with Sall and Tavlaridid both out.
They have not scored in three starts and are very poor on the road, where they are 2-2-11 and have conceded a league high total of 27 goals.
Hosts could dispel any lingering relegation thoughts with a win and are in good form, having lost only to in form Marseille in their last six.
My only concern is the draw, Auxerre have drawn 5 of their last 10 and h2h wise, the last five meetings here, have ended all square. Therefore, I will take a small saver on that result.
7 points Auxerre -1/4 ball asian line 1.83
1.5 points draw 3.10 general quote.
Good Luck.
DIVISION 2 ............
ROTHERHAM- BRADFORD CITY
Yorkshire derby that has taken on a whole different complexion, following Rotherham's second period in administration and deduction of ten points. This means that the 7th place in the table and final play-off spot, has been thrown wide open. City are a huge club at this level and currently sit in 13th position, ten points off that desired place, however, they have two matches in hand of their rivals and so, with a win today could get back into the hunt.
They are sure to have a massive travelling support today, won the reverse fixture 3-2 just four weeks ago and are in the better current form of these two, they will certainly have the mental edge and we have to take them to get the three points, at very decent odds.
4.5 points Bradford 3.50 general quote.
Good Luck.
I will be back later, with a selection for tonight's football.SERIE A ....
REGGINA - NAPOLI
I will take Reggina to carry on the improvement they have shown under new coach Nevio Orlandi and to add to the seven points they have collected, from their last three home starts. Results that they built on with a vital point at Livorno on Wednesday.
They meet a Napoli side that will be pleased with their win over Fiorentina, a result that has virtually assured a mid table finish. This is a huge club, with unlimited potential and they will surely have big plans for next season, however, for now the job seems almost done and I guess home games will be of far greater importance.
Napoli are 2-3 -9 on the road, remain without Zalayeta up front and have problems all over the pitch, including Domizzi, Savini and Mannini all suspended.
6 points Reggina -1/2 ball 2.20 asian line.
SIENA -PARMA
Both should be happy with the point that will keep them above the relegation zone, it will continue the improved form of the visitors and will be welcome to the hosts, who are still in shock, after the thumping they received at Reggina last week.
Siena have drawn 11 times this season and 50% of their home starts, Parma have finished all square in 6 of 14 away from home and in 50% of their last ten matches overall.
H2h wise, last two meetings here have ended in a stalemate.
4.5 points draw 2.90 general quote.
Good Luck.

TONIGHT'S FOOTBALL ....
They will be on the free to view, blog section of the new website, click here for the link.
Good Luck.
AFTERNOON ACTION ............
CHAMPIONSHIP
CHARLTON ATHLETIC - WEST BROMWICH ALBION
Not much has gone right for the hosts in recent weeks and their promotion dreams are hanging by a thread. They could go back into the top six, albeit only for 24 hours , with a win, but confidence cannot be high. The Addicks have just a single win in six starts, six points in eight matches and since allowing playmaker Andy Reid to leave, the supply to the frontline has dried up.
Albion will also be looking to get back on track after the big home defeat to Leicester last week, that game turned on a dismissal and we can expect a more disciplined performance fron the Baggies. A win will keep an automatic promotion spot in their own hands and they will probably be happy to get away from, their former fortress home, where they have collected only five points from as many games. On the road, only Watford have averaged more Championship goals this season and they have also notched 13 in three FA Cup away wins at Peterborough, Coventry and Bristol Rovers.
I do not see the visitors coming away empty handed, they can get forward very quickly and with Charlton forced to press for the win, they should get plenty of opportunity to do so.
5.5 WBA level ball 1.98 asian line.
Good Luck.

THE CONCEPT OF VALUE .....
The "secret" of successful gambling is to get value, if you can get 2.10 a true even money shot, like the toss of a coin, then you should bet.
Jeremy Chapman, chief golf correspondent and tipster of The Racing Post, seems to have forgotten this most basic piece of gambling advice. He wrote in his preview of the CA Championship ......
"All the 10-11 for Tiger Woods to win the WGC-CA Championship went yesterday, leaving 5-6 the best available UK price, but even that is a decent price as I would probably have him as a 1-3 shot and those foolhardy enough to oppose him are more likely than not to get theirfingers burnt. "
He then went on to tip someone else in the tournament ! If he truely made Woods a 75% chance to win the tournament, to not back him at 1.83 +, is almost criminal.
Anyway, like Mr Chapman, I am looking elsewhere.
WGC CA CHAMPIONSHIP OUTRIGHT & FIRST ROUND MATCH UP
This is being played at Doral, also called the Blue Monster, because of the amount of water on the course. It was toughened up before last year and Tiff Eagle greens were laid, which are very fast, if, as it sometimes does, the wind blows, this course could get very difficult.
Tiger Woods has been made odds on, like I said last week, it is hard to argue with those odds, but they always look more attractive to lay to my eyes , as he often trades much higher in running at some stage during the tournament. In the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week, he opened at circa 2.20, yet was freely available @ 6.0 after two rounds.
I am interested in Robert Allenby, who has not won for a long time, but is showing signs of a return to his best, he is suited by conditions and always plays well at this time of the year.
Allenby is a very good driver of the ball and, like many Australians can handle the wind, as he can keep the ball low. He hits a lot of greens in regulation and the only chink in his armour over recent seasons, has been his putting, which of course, is key.
However, his stats in that department have shown clear signs of improvement in 2008 and he is currently ranked some 100 places higherin this category. This is his time of year, in 2007 he earned 75% of his total prize money, before the end of March. He also scored really well in his first rounds last year, with 17 of the 28 he played, being under par, including a fine opening 67 here last year, when he went on to finish in a tie for 3rd place.
He arrives in very decent shape, has scored 70 or less in six of the seven opening rounds he has played in 2008 and in his last three strokeplay events, has finished 7th-4th-14th, with an eyecatching 9 of his last 12 rounds under par.
With so many top players, Woods aside, struggling to find their "A" game, I like Allenby this week and am very keen on him to record a top ten finish.
In today's opening round he can also be backed to beat Arron Oberholser, who has had a tough time with injuries and has only played three tournaments in the last six months. Oberholser started with a first day 74 at Doral last year and never got into contention, recording just one round under par and that, by just a single stroke. Obviously, I fancy Allenby to see him off today.
4 points Allenby top ten finish 5.0 + exchanges, 4.50 Stan James.
5 points Allenby to beat Oberholser 1.752 Pinnacle 18 hole match.
Good Luck.
I have also previewed four of today's football matches on the email service, details of which can be found on our website www.predictuwin.com.

CRUNCH GAME IN EINDHOVEN ........
NETHERLANDS
EREDIVISIE
PSV EINDHOVEN - AJAX AMSTERDAM
Very briefly, this is pretty much the final chance for Ajax to get back into the title race. A couple of blips by PSV, including conceding an injury time equaliser at the weekend.Have enabled the visitors to close to within four points and, with a better goal difference, could really put some pressure on the defending champions with a win, which they will be going for, all guns blazing.
On a going day, Ajax can be unstoppable, as in the 5-1 win here last season, a victory which ended their poor run at the Philips Stadion, they have won their last four, scoring a whopping 17 goals and have not come to defend.
There are very few draws when these two meet, just one in twelve and two in seventeen meetings, so I am passing the handicap and my choice is the straight away win. On the nose !
4.5 points Ajax -1/2 ball 3.30 exchanges.
Ajax squad:Dennis Gentenaar,Marco van Duin, John Heitinga, Thomas Vermaelen, Samuel Kuffour, Jan Vertonghen, George Ogararu, Bruno Silva, Edgar Davids, Dennis Rommedahl,
Rasmus Lindgren, Jeffrey Sarpong, Kenneth Perez, Urby Emanuelson,Klaas Jan Huntelaar,
Leonardo, Luis Suarez, Kennedy.
Good Luck.

SCOTTISH CUP REPLAY .....
ST MIRREN- ST JOHNSTONE
I like the visitors here, certainly with the half ball start, St Johnstone are one of the yo-yo teams between Division 1 and the SPL, much like their hosts and there is probably not too much between these two.
St Mirren are without cup tied striker Jim Hamilton, who has notched their only goal in four SPL games and are also struggling in central defence, with one or maybe both, of Potter and Haining set to miss out. These are two key players, even if they start, they are unlikely to be 100% fit.
St Johnstone got off to a slow start this season, otherwise they would be challenging for the title and a place in the top flight, they currently lie in 3rd spot, but probably just a little too far behind the top two. However, they have lost just once in seven and twice in sixteen, winning an impressive eleven of those. This could go all the way and be a long evening for viewers.
5.5 points St Johnstone +1/2 ball 1.94 asian line.... now 1.74 !
Good Luck.
SERIE B ....
RAVENNA - CHIEVO VERONA
Ravenna are bottom of the table and look set to be making a sift return to "C", they have collected just two points from a possible eighteen and have conceded ten goals in their last five starts.
Chievo are in fine form, top the table and are also top scorers, with 55 goals. They are on a long unbeaten run and have already registered nine away wins, a fine total by any standards, but especially in Serie B. Play has opened up a lot more in this normally tight league, with the average match now producing over 2.5 goals per game, an increase of 0.25 over the last couple of seasons.
With the top six in the table seemingly booked for ,at least a play-off spot, they are all nine clear of the seventh placed team, there seems, with just 4 points seperating the top sides, no point in looking for anything other than the victory in fixtures like these. With Chievo set to face the second and third placed teams in the next few weeks, this is a clear away win for me.
5 points Chievo -1/2 ball 1.80 general quote.... now 1.77
Good Luck.
SWANS IN A FLAP ?
ENGLAND DIVISION 1
BRISTOL ROVERS - SWANSEA CITY
Swans have stepped off the gas in recent weeks, have collected just a single point from three starts and were 3-0 down after 23 minutes, at in form Northampton over the weekend. Boss Roberto Martinez, has cried enough (!) and I fully expect to see the real Swansea side, this evening, the one that has graced Division 1 this season and that, still holds a six point lead at the top of the table. They need a win tonight, just to steady the ship, the last thing they want is a nervous Easter period, with their lead being whittled away. This is the second in a run of 4 from 5 and 6 from 8 matches, away from the Liberty Stadium, they certainly do not want to travel to Southend at the weekend, on the back of two away defeats, facing four of the next six away and with several teams closing in on them, that is the sort of scenario that has you waking up in a cold sweat.
This is the best team in the division by a mile, they have won ten on the road, so should have no fear of the short journey across the Severn, to play cup heroes Rovers. Their hosts have not won in four, including three at home, where they have recorded only five victories in seventeen league starts this season.
They are, undestandably, suffering a bit of a cup hangover. Both teams are a little weakened defensively, but City have more options, fought back well in the last hour at Northampton and will be up for this from the off .
5.5 points Swansea -1/4 ball 2.02 asian line.... NOW 1.96
Good Luck.

UPDATE !
Good Luck.
ATP TOUR ..... INDIAN WELLS ....
CARLOS MOYA - JAMES BLAKE
This should be close and I have found a nice looking bet. Firstly, let me say that both are pretty happy with the surface and conditions in Indian Wells and arrive in decent form.
The h2h record is 5-5, with Blake leading 4-2 on hardcourts and winning four of the last five, but did lose the last, which was on clay.
Let's look a little closer at those 10 matches, all except two have gone to a deciding set. One was very early in their history, the second was in the Australian Open last year, when Moya was exhausted. the two had met just a couple of days earlier in Sydney and the Spaniard had flew there directly from winning in Chennai. That was too much for the veteran and former world number one.
I see a lot of value in this again going all the way and think the combined odds of around 34%, or 2.90 are generous for a bet that has won in 8 of their previous 10 meetings, especially when we can discard one, which was also the only Grand Slam (5 set ) match.
3.5 points Blake 2-1 sets 4.0 Expekt/Corals
2.5 points Moya 2-1 sets 6.0 Bet 365
Similar odds, or higher, are likely to be available on the exchanges a little later.
Good Luck.

USPGA TOUR .........
Check it out.
GERMANY ....
BUNDESLIGA WERDER BREMEN - WOLFSBURG
Bayern's unexpected defeat yesterday, has given Bremen a chink of title light and with a good run of fixtures ahead and the chance to reduce the gap to 4 points at the top of the table, I expect them to take full advantage. The visitors have improved on the road, since the winter break, but got a hammering at Karlsruhe last time out. They are the archetypal mid table side, with no relegation worries and few european ambitions and have had a flu bug at the club this week, with several players affected.
The reverse fixture ended 1-1 but Bremen dominated much of the play and with their fantastic home record, they have won 12 from 13 and the last 4 without conceding, will be confident of collecting the points.
5.5 points Werder Bremen -1 ball 2.20 asian line.
Good Luck.
SPAIN .........
ESPANOL - MALLORCA
Visitors have scored ten goals in their last two starts and Espanol are without their keeper and top scorer, so of course I am taking a little on the hosts !
Espanol do have other options up front and have Alberto Riera returning to midfield and that is a big boost. After a recent slump, they beat Valencia and were close to taking points off Real in Madrid last week. They still harbour Champions Laegue ambitions and would have a real chance of that dream, with a win today, especially with an easy ( on paper) run of fixtures ahead, with Murcia, Racing, Bilbao and Osasuna up next.
Mallorca , obviously pose a real goal threat, but do struggle to win games, with 5 draws from 6 starts. they are clearly an upper midtable side and this is the type of fixture the home side have to win, if they are to compete for a top 4 place.
5 points Espanol -1/4 ball 2.03 asian line.
Good Luck.
ITALY .... SERIE A
REGGINA - SIENA
Home debut for new Reggina coach Nevio Orlandi and I expect that to have an effect, they are 3 points from safety and with 3 of their next 4, on the road, need something today.
They have collected 4 points from their last two at home, against strong visitors Juve and Palermo. Siena come in good form looking for their 4th straight win , but will be without suspended top striker Masssimo Maccarone, who has scored the winner, in two of those three victories.
Orlandi is aware of the threat Siena pose on the left hand side and is confident he has a game plan to stop them and get a result.
6 points Reggina -1/4 ball 1.96 asian line.
Good Luck.

SCOTTISH DIVISION 1 .......
HAMILTON - DUNDEE
The top two meet and whilst we cannot really call it a title decider, as they have still to battle once more, on the final day of the season, it is obviously a vital encounter. Hamilton currently hold the edge, as they have for much of the season, but Dundee have been closing in steadily for months and only trail by 3 points with a game in hand.
The visitors are a bigger club and to my eyes, look the better team, they will have their strongest squad for sometime and know that Hamilton have the easier remaining fixtures, so need to pick up something today. They lost to two late goals in the earlier meeting on Hamilton's plastic pitch, but did not look in much danger up until then. Dundee are a better side now and in Mickael Antoine-Curier, have a striker on fire, since joining the club, he has contributed 8 goals in 5 starts and is terrorising Division 1 defences. I do not see them losing this one and even the Accies might be "happy" with a draw.
5.5 points Dundee +1/4 ball 1.89 asian line.... now 1.82
Good Luck.
HARRY HAS THEM DANCING TO THE POMPEY CHIMES .....
PREMIERSHIP PORTSMOUTH - ASTON VILLA
Great season for these two clubs. Happy Harry has got the Pompey faithful looking forward to a "couple" of Wembley appearances and dreaming of taking some silverware back to the south coast. They sit in a comfortable position in the Premiership, 7th place but too far behind Everton to qualify for what looks to be the sole UEFA Cup spot remaining.
MON's Villa side are one place ahead of Portsmouth and are still targeting Everton in 5th spot, but with 7 points to make up, will have to look for the win today. I expect both to open up and go seeking maximum points. Portsmouth have starved their loyal home fans of goals at Fratton Park, saving their best performances for away games, but did at least notch four, in a midweek win over Birmingham.
Villa have had a remarkable sequence of results, they are without a clean sheet in their last 16 starts, also scoring in 15 of them, so we can certainly expect both to get on the scoresheet today. The reverse fixture produced four goals and I will be disappointed if this doesn't go "over" this afternoon.
5 points "over" 2.25 goals 1.90 asian line.... now 1.87
Good Luck.

FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL ......
FRANCE LIGUE 2
DIJON - BASTIA
Hosts remain in the bottom three, despite putting in four decent performances in a row and doing us a couple of favours. They face a daunting trip to Nantes next week, so will need something from this evening.
Bastia still have a chance of promotion, but it is looking increasingly slim, they have only (narrowly) beaten struggling Libourne in their last 4 starts and might have one eye on their cup visit to PSG next midweek. They are missing a few defenders and I like the home team, who I consider to be the more motivated.
5.5 points Dijon level ball 2.11 asian line.
MONTPELLIER HERAULT- AMIENS SC
Montpellier never (well hardly) concede at home, but may be forced into a more attacking approach this evening by their offensive minded visitors. Amiens last 10 games have produced 31 goals, 4 of their last 5 have been "over", all 5 two or more goals, with an average 3.4 per game.
H2h record offers promise, with 7 of the last 8 meetings all producing two or more.
I feel that the hosts owe their fans a bit of entertainment and with a limited amount to now play for in the league, this could open up.
5.5 points "over" 2 goals 1.90 asian line... now 1.86
GUINGAMP- REIMS
Finally, I like the hosts here. Guingamp are very difficult to beat on home soil and remain in good form, with just a single defeat in 10 starts.
The visitors are without a number of players this evening and have already lost 8 on the road, only basement club Gueugnon have recorded more. They concede freely, an average of 1.64 per away game.
History also favours the home win, with Guingamp winning the last 3 at the Roudourou stadium.
5.5 points Guingamp -1/2 ball 1.92 general quote.... now 1.86
Good Luck.
FRIDAY PLANS .... THE WEEKEND STARTS HERE !
Following a quiet Thursday, we get the weekend off to a flyer and the emailed newsletter, will be covering six selections, across three sports and two continents.
I will be posting a couple of these on the blog, but if you want to receive all selections from the service that is making eye catching returns for it's members, you will have to take out a subscription.
Full details can be found on our new website www.predictuwin.com and you can get the full lowdown on recent results by clicking this link.
We do not cover horseracing very often on the blog, but even casual followers of the sport, will be glued to their television screens today, to watch the clash between stablemates, Denman and Kato Star, in the blue riband event of National Hunt racing, the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Everything is over hyped nowadays and I am not sure that this is justified in being tagged the "race of the century", but it is certainly one not to be missed. No tip from me, but I have a friend who is obsessed with and a student of, race/split times and he says that unless it is heavy going today, it is "impossible" for Denman to beat the defending champion, who he expects to win easily. He doesn't normally talk in such terms, so it will add an extra edge for me and offer plenty of ammunition with which to wind him up in the coming months, if he is wrong !
Please check back later.

UEFA CUP ....
ZENIT ST PETERSBURG - OLYMPIQUE MARSEILLE
OM took a three goal lead to Moscow in the last round and lost by two, easing into this round. I expect something very similar this time, with a home win by one, or even two goals, with the visitors going out this time.
They have a 3-1 lead and are set to name a very defensive line up, flooding the midfield and looking to stifle the game. this is not a priority for them, securing a Champions League place in Ligue 1 remains target number one and even the French Cup, is said to be more important to the club.
Zenit are a very strong, rich , ambitious club and should go well in the Champions League next season. Their fitness is improving day by day, with the domestic league about to start and they will be boosted by the return from suspension of Sirl and Shirokov.
Conditions will help them, with rain and snow forecast and temperatures set to be around zero come kick off. They are set to start with the following line up ....
Malafeev - Anyukov, Krizanac, Shirokov, Hubocan - Fayzulin, Tymoschuk, Zyrianov, Sirl - Arshavin, Pogrebnyak
6 points Zenit -1/4 ball 1.96 asian line.
Good Luck.
CHAMPIONSHIP ...... BLUEBIRDS HOST TIGERS
CARDIFF CITY - HULL CITY
The FA Cup has only left the country once, in 1927, when Cardiff City won the trophy and now, with Barnsley the only team standing between them and another final appearance, they have a great chance to repeat.
They are still talking about reaching the play-offs as well, but even with a win tonight, Cardiff will still be 8 points adrift of a top 6 spot, currently held by Hull, with six teams splitting the two, realistically that looks too much. But they will have to go for it and a draw has little value.
The visitors are in the final play-off position, a point clear of the team below, with two games in hand, they will be in a very strong position with a win. Actually, they are ten points away from an automatic promotion place, again with two matches in hand, so, by winning those , could close to within 4 points. From that point of view, we can also argue that they might be only interested in maximum points this evening.
Hull are in great form, have lost just once in 9 starts, that coming at league leaders Bristol City, where they dominated the play, with 58% possession and 14 attempts on goal. They have a decent run in, are likely to secure a post season position and maybe more.
Where does this leave us ? I think that we will see goals, both teams are likely to go for it and have potent attacks. Hull have scored in 16 straight games and the two shared 4 goals and 30 attempts on goal in the reverse fixture, same again please.
5 points "over" 2.25 goals 2.06 asian line.
Good Luck.

SCOTLAND ....... DIVISION 2
BERWICK RANGERS - COWDENBEATH
The season is over for Berwick, they are 14 points behind Cowdenbeath, having played two games more, are fast running out of fixtures and are in dire form, with just a single point from a possible 30, conceding a whooping 33 goals.
They are without two key players this evening and are already preparing for next season in Division 3.
Visitors sit directly above them in the sole relegation play-off spot, but only two points adrift of Queens Park, with a GIH. They have lost their last 6, BUT all were against top 5 sides ( they met the leaders twice), they did not go down without a fight in any of these, which was commendable as they have had horrendous injury problems and have been fielding more youth, than senior players recently. That situation has improved now and they will field their strongest eleven for a long time tonight, they took 4 points from the two earlier meetings and will add to that tally this evening.
Cowdenbeath are known as the Blue Brazil, how can you not want to back a team with such a fantastic nickname ?
6 points Cowdenbeath -1/4 ball 1.88 asian line.
Good Luck.
ENGLAND ...... DIVISION 2
NOTTS COUNTY- LINCOLN CITY
City have won 6 from 8 and have regrouped under boss Peter Jackson, however, he has been diagnosed with cancer and in the first game he missed, having been given leave of absence, they were thumped 4-1 at Chesterfield, who have not been playing well.
He is bound to be missed by the players and it may take a few matches for them to come to terms with the changes. They have secured their safety and now have little to play for in the league.
County are only six points ahead of basement club Wrexham and are desperate for anything they can get, points wise. Especially, with two tough games ahead against Peterborough and Rochdale. They do draw a lot of games, but have only lost to Bradford and Darlington in their last ten starts.
It is reported elsewhere, that the home side have a lot of players missing, but the majority of these are minor knocks and they are likely to start, having been nursed through recent days.
City have six players out for sure and have a dire record at County, winning on just 3 of 27 visits.
5.5 points Notts County -1/4 ball 2.14 asian line.... now 2.08
Good Luck.
FRANCE .... LIGUE 1
RACING CLUB LENS - LILLE OSC
Try as I might, I find it impossible to get away from the draw in this game. The two sides sit two points clear of the relegation zone, with this game in hand and a superior goal difference, to the teams below them in the table. So, a point for each, will give them a three point + advantage, over the chasing clubs, with both also having a home game this coming weekend.
If that was not enough, RCL are 4-7-2 at home and have drawn 4 of their last 6 starts. Lille are draw specialists and have finished all square in 6 from 10 and in 15 of all 27, Ligue 1 fixtures this season.
H2h record also offers plenty of encouragement, with four of the last seven meetings in Lens ending in a stalemate.
4.5 points draw 2.90 + general quote.
Good Luck.
TUESDAY PLANS ....
I have previewed six matches today on the email service and am intending to put two, maybe three of these on the blog later this afternoon, either here or on the new site www.predictuwin.com . Also sent out a number of free newsletters, to a sample of readers that have contacted me recently, so check your inbox, there might be a freebie waiting for you.
Back later.

MONDAY ...... THE STORM HITS ......
No, I am not just talking about the battering that the email service has been giving the bookmakers, but the very high winds that are pounding the UK and that might play havoc with fixtures, over the early part of this week.
In the "archive" section of the new website www.predictuwin.com you can read all the emails sent to subscribers, going back to September 23rd, some 161 days, so a very large sample.
Over this period the service has made a profit of 320.92 points.
What does this mean in real terms ?
If you backed every selection to a US$25 unit stake, the biggest single bet you would have placed during this sequence, would have been US$175 and that, very rarely. Your profits work out at 320.92 X US$25 , which equals US $8,023, your total subscription charges would have been a maximum of US$476 over the five and a half months. Leaving you with a clear profit of US $7,547, an average of $328 every single week.
The sums are pretty much the same whatever stakes you use, using 10 euro units, your biggest bet 70 euros and profit after paying for your subscription, 2,875 euros.
If you want to be a little more cautious, £3 units, mean that only rarely would you have placed a wager of over £20, actually, £21 on three occasions, your net profit would total almost £713 after deducting subscription fees.
I have readers that have made much more out of the service, not just by betting higher stakes, but by being selective and using a little personal knowledge to fine tune their selections,or, by using the information within the newsletter to pinpoint future winners and become better all round gamblers.
Unlike other services which make outrageous claims, all I have ever targeted have been sustained long term profits, sometimes we will have a losing run, that is unavoidable, this is gambling for goodness sake, but by taking a professional, business like approach, we will attempt to keep those to a minimum and usually end up on the right side.
Many of you have been with me a long time, some of you have been reading my posts on the blog for two years, you know how good they have been, arguably the best free service on the internet. The email service provides a far superior service , that is the best recommendation I can give.
If you are not making regular profits from your betting, then you need a little help !
Good Luck.

SPAIN .... LA LIGA AND SEGUNDA
LA LIGA
REAL MURCIA - GETAFE
Murcia have been in a very poor run and are now stuck deep in the relegation zone, six points from safety. Their coach has paid with his job and has been replaced by the vastly experienced Javier Clemente, who, as well winning a number of titles, knows how to fight a relegation battle. He looks the right man to give them a fighting chance of survival. They are not too bad at home and their record of 4-3-5, could/should be a little better, they have been very unlucky in losing their last three and could have got something from each, late goals costing them dearly. This must be a good time to meet Getafe, their gruelling schedule continues, they are currently on their way home from a fine 2-0 win at Benfica. They tired late in the game against ten man Mallorca last weekend (thankfully) and must surely be feeling the effects, of fighting a campaign on three fronts. The Madrid side do have the strength in depth to continue this and something has to give. I like this quote and expect the "new coach" effect to produce a much needed home win.
6.5 points Murcia level ball 2.06 asian line.... NOW 1.95
SEGUNDA
ALBACETE - REAL SOCIEDAD
Visitors are a big club and should be in La Liga, after a sluggish start to life in Segunda, they have come on strong and sit in 4th, just outside the promotion spots and are unbeaten in 5. With their next two starts coming against Numancia (1st) and Gijon (3rd), they need a result today, to take into those fixtures.
Albacete have won only once in seven matches and that came in a narrow home win over Segunda basement club Xerex. They struggle to score and only have 12 goals at home, 20 in total, the lowest in the division. I do not see Real going home empty handed.
5.5 points Sociedad -1/4 ball 2.14 asian line.... NOW 2.06
Good Luck.
CARLO KEEPING JOSE'S SEAT WARM ....
ITALY SERIE A EMPOLI - AC MILAN
Milan have to bounce back today, they travel to Roma next and need the three points to put some pressure on Fiorentina and Juve, in the race for 4th spot. They seem happier on the road, where they are 7-3-3 and have only conceded 10 goals, a total only "beaten" by Inter. They will be without Gattuso in midfield, but like most of his team mates, he was MIA in the defeat Arsenal in midweek and might not be too big a loss at present .
Hosts are struggling ,have lost their last two without scoring and will be without two key players in Davide Moro and Lino Marzoratti, who are both suspended. They did win the reverse fixture at the San Siro, but that game came immediately after "Dida gate" at Celtic Park, when the goalkeeper's mad moment, was all the press were interested in and the team were definitely affected. Milan had, as you might expect, the best of that game, 57% possession and 19 attempts at goal, 7 on target.
They will be very motivated today, with no outside distractions, only for Ancelotti, who knows that his place will be taken by Jose Mourinho next season, who is probably at Italian class as I type. Milan have never lost here and they normally bounce straight back from a big loss, away win.
6.5 points Milan -1/2 ball 1.85 asian line.
Back later.
SUNDAY MORNING .....
It is impossible to guarantee such returns, that has never been the aim of the service, we are aiming to make consistent long term profits and do that better than any other service on the internet. Today's email runs to some 1,500 words and offers terrific value for money at around $3 per day, for any gambler, the Predictuwin newsletter is an absolutely vital tool in the battle against bookmakers.
I have previewed six events today, four new football matches, one was given earlier in the week and also taken a look at the USPGA Golf, where we had an 11.0 winner last Sunday. I have given another big priced section for today's final round and am confident that we/he will go close.
There will be a couple of selections on the blog later today, decided, as usual, by the market reaction to my previews. If you wish to receive all my output, you will have to subscribe to the newsletter.
Anyone signing up today, will actually start their subscription tomorrow, but I will send a free copy of today's by return email. Full details are on the new website www.predictuwin.com .

TEAM NEWS UPDATE ...
Doncaster Rovers: Neil Sullivan, Adam Lockwood, Matt Mills, Gareth Roberts, Mark Wilson, James Coppinger, Paul Green, Ritchie Wellens, Brian Stock, Mark McCammon, Paul Heffernan. Subs: Gareth Taylor, James Hayter, Sean McDaid, Sturt Elliott, Sam Hird.
SATURDAY FOOTBALL
Today's blog selection has picked itself, the other two teams have been well backed, the first from 1.83 down to 1.72 and the second, hammered from 2.25 in to 1.96.
DIVISION 1
DONCASTER ROVERS - PORT VALE
I am pretty sure that Rovers are the second best team in this league and if there is any justice, they will join Swansea in the Championship next season.
They have won eleven from 14, keeping ten clean sheets, including winning six from their last seven, conceding just a single goal.
Vale are resigned to relegation, have won just two from 22, with one clean sheet and are without a victory in 9 starts. They have conceded at least 3 goals in 6 of their last 11, allowing 26 goals in total ,over this sequence.
Their squad is far below the level required and they have signed too many non league players, the transition has been too great for most.
Roberts and Price are doubts for the hosts, but they are boosted by the return of the classy James Hayter. Rovers won the reverse fixture 3-1, scoring all their goals in a second half ,that they totally dominated. Both teams have gone in different directions since then and another two goal victory, is the minimum I forsee.
6.5 points Doncaster -1.25 goals 1.81 asian line.
Good Luck.
DUMP THE COACH .... IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE !
We have seen it work time and time again in football, especially once the new coach is appointed. It seems to have a similar effect in tennis, after parting company with Brad Gilbert, Andy Murray immediately won two events and now Andy Roddick, looks set to follow suit. Following his split with Jimmy Connors, he is a big favourite to take the title in Dubai this afternoon. So, we have a new system, wait for a top ranked player to dump their coach and get on !
FA Cup quarter-final weekend in England, an even split, with just four Premiership sides remaining, but with Manchester United hosting Portsmouth and Chelsea travelling to Championship strugglers Barnsley. It would take a brave man to bet against the amazing run of the big four, it is twelve years since any side apart from Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal has won the famous trophy. So much for them not taking the competition seriously.
I have "only" previewed three matches on the email service today, which is unusual for a saturday,no, I am not sitting on the profits (see post below), as all were high staked and strong selections. However, we do need to keep plenty of ammunition for tomorrow, where I have already given one strong bet and am also considering a seven point selection.
With regard to the blog, I will make a decision about what to post, after I see how the market reacts, over the next hour or so.
Please check back.

THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN !
I told you this morning, that I had sent email subscribers 8 previews, one for the weekend and seven for a variety of events taking place today. Well, guess what ?
We hit the jackpot ! All seven won, producing almost 35 points profit in a single day, that's £174 for £5 units, 696 euros to 20 euro stakes and for the big players $3,480 to a $100 unit.
Not too shabby whatever stakes you play and worthwhile "wasting" a couple of euros per day on the newsletter. No, that's not a misprint, that is the real cost!
Full details can be found on the new website www.predictuwin.com.
Here are the selections ......
ATP TOUR TENNIS DUBAI
NIKOLAY DAVYDENKO - FELICIANO LOPEZ
3 points Lopez 2.76 exchanges. WON + 5.28 points
ANDY RODDICK - NOVAK DJOKOVIC
2 points Roddick 3.31 exchanges. WON straight sets + 4.62 points
ENGLAND DIVISION 1
GRIMSBY TOWN - MILTON KEYNES DONS
5 points MK Dons -1/4 ball 1.94 asian line. WON 1-0 + 4.70 points
FRANCE LIGUE 2
LIBOURNE - GUEUGNON
6 points Libourne -1/2 ball 1.85 general quote. WON 2-0 +5.10 points
STADE DE REIMS -BOULOGNE
5 points "over" 2 goals 1.84 asian line. WON "over" before half time +4.20 points
STADE BRESTOIS - DIJON
5 points Dijon +1/2 ball 1.97 asian line. WON 0-0 draw +4.85 points
GERMANY BUNDESLIGA 2 ALEMANNIA AACHEN - GREUHER FURTH
5.5 points Greuher Furth level ball 2.10 asian line. WON 5-2 +6.05 points
Total profit + 34.8 points
No other bets were given on the service, other than the Sunday selection. This is the best value service on the internet, the blog is good and has given 73 winners from 112 selections since December 23rd, a 65.18% strike rate, that is tremendous, but the email service is on another level.
Good Luck.
FRANCE LIGUE 2 .....
LIBOURNE - GUEUGNON
Huge, huge game for Libourne, did I say that this was a big match for them ?
They have been playing really well for a long time, their only recent loss came at high flying Bastia and a fine 2-2 draw away to Nantes last time out, was proof of their current level, but too many draws, have left them still in the drop zone, 5 points from safety.
Tonight they meet Gueugnon, who are already resigned to spending next season in National and have not won since I was last in short trousers !
I can only see a home win, one side has given up, the other is playing well and fighting for their Ligue 2 life.
6 points Libourne -1/2 ball 1.85 general quote.
STADE DE REIMS -BOULOGNE
I favour goals here, visitors are not playing well, cannot keep a clean sheet and have conceded a league high total of 24 away goals this season. Reims can virtually secure a mid table finish with another couple of wins and will probably get one this evening, their last 10 games have produced 30 goals, way above the league average of 2.28.
5 points "over" 2 goals 1.84 asian line. Good luck.
