I awoke this morning to find that the big yellow ball that has been hovvering in the sky over my corner of South-East England for the last three weeks has disappeared and been replaced by rain, so basically, normal service is resumed !
Goals also rained in the second half of the Wycombe -Swindon game after the break yesterday and landed our 9th winner from ten blog selections. The point did not really help either, which is why both were gunning for all three at the death, it does keep Wycombe alive a little longer, but their Division 1 survival is now hanging by a very thin thread and Swindon are left planning for the post season.
Elsewhere, Brentford had to wait a long time for an equaliser at home to Yeovil, after falling behind to a hotly disputed penalty, but finally got the minimum their efforts deserved and are now eleven games unbeaten. Two games left for the mighty Bees and they have made it a target to finish the season with this run intact, they go to Swindon next week and finish with a home game against Hartlepool, who's survival was confirmed by results elsewhere yesterday.
I have picked out three "winners" today and am very keen on two of them in particular, both of whom I considered making "maximum" wagers, before taking the more cautious option. Will do my best to post at least one of these on the blog later in the day, maybe two, so please check back later.
Good Luck.
