TONY MOWBRAY .....

.... is a very ambitious, talented young coach, he has done a wonderful job at Hibernian and is sure to move on to bigger and better things eventually.

I rate his Hibs side the fourth best in the SPL and they are starting to prove that, following a slow start where very little went their way. Against Aberdeen they had 24 shots at goal and could only draw and then dominated the match at Kilmarnock, yet somehow lost. Strangely enough, in the attempts on goal "table", they are actually in 4th place just behind the big 3.

They are finally playing the way TM wants and the results are coming. On the back of two impressive wins they went to Celtic Park, played well and led for almost an hour, before losing 2-1. With Rangers up next, they are targeting 3 points from the trip to Dundee United today.

Hibs play an attractive style of football and have a group of young players, Thomson, Brown, Whittaker and Fletcher, that are the envy of many Premiership scouts. They are very strong in midfield and this is where I think they will win the game today, United are without Robson and Robb, two starting midfielders.

There is a lot of competition for places in the Hibernian squad and I think the charge up the table continues today.

3 points Hibernian 2.50 general .... ladbrokes/ stan james etc.

Back later.

Good Luck.
