Let's hope that it is better than the first !
I have a real problem with New Year's Day and it has nothing to do with alcohol. About a decade ago, I won a HUGE amount of money, for a relatively small stake, on January 1st, which was, of course, a fantastic way to start the year.
However, that was all my luck used up in one go and since then, I seem jinxed on this day and unable to back a winner. Think that will be a day off next year !
