TENNIS ..........

Just a few lines about tonight's tennis, I am just going to suggest one bet, but there are some awfully big prices around .......
Srebotnik circa 3.60 + , she won her opening match comfortably over Bovina 6-3 6-1 and Kuznetzova has been sick.

Spadea circa 4.60 + , Davydenko was carrying an injury against Murray and is known to retire in the second set on occasion !

Li Na circa 2.85 + to defeat Dementieva, who has started as she will no doubt carry on, with 4 games worth of double faults in her opener with Sugiyama.

My choice is Shahar Peer to defeat Patty Schnyder, who struggled in her opener, eventually beating Dushevina in 3 sets.

The Israeli player should be pushing for a top 10 place this year, she opened with a very nice performance in a 4&2 win over Groenefeld. This followed on from a semi final appearance last week, where she lost to tournament winner, Safina, in 3 close sets.

She should feel very much at home in Australia, where she won the Open Girls title in 2004.

I cannot believe that Shahar will not be the highest ranked of these two, come 2008.

3 points Peer to beat Schnyder 2.28 Pinnacle, a little on the exchanges at 2.30, more should be available later.

Good Luck.
