Everything was going perfectly in the Villa-Chelsea match last night.
The visitors were well on top, creating plenty of chances, the home team never troubled the Blues goal. They went in at the break 0-0, which was exactly as we wanted and it was simply a matter of time, until they took the lead and then .......... nothing !
Chelsea were VERY poor in the second half and it was not until deep in injury time, that they threatened to score. Shevchenko has not produced one single piece of real magic all season and looks a lost soul.
I feel very sorry for him, with his millions ( tens of ) , super model wife and Coca Cola and Nike contracts, where did it all go wrong !
Anyway, on to today. There is very little football, but I will be previewing the Conference game, shown live on SKY and also looking at the tennis in Doha and/or Australia and maybe even some US sport.
