PRIMERA LIGA ........CELTA VIGO -DEPORTIVO

Hristo Stoichkov left his position as Bulgarian national coach, to take charge of the relegation threatened hosts. I do not think he would have taken the job, unless he believed that he could preserve their La Liga status.

He has had 4 days to work some magic with the squad, ahead of this massive Galician derby. This group of players is, quality wise, better than almost all of their relegation rivals and I expect them to survive. Not certain what the relationship between these two clubs is like, Deportivo have very little to play for and if these were two Basque clubs, we could expect the visitors to take things easy.

Celta have had a very tough run of fixtures, playing Real Madrid, Seville, Valencia and Racing in their last 6 and will welcome the chance to play a (hopefully) less motivated opponent. They will have goalkeeper Pinto back, but will be without two suspended outfield players.

It is a little worse for Depor, who also have two suspended and two others missing through injury.

Stoichkov, who was a wonderful player to watch, to make a dream start.

5 points Celta -1/4 ball 1.91 asian line. won 1-0 + 4.55 pts

Good Luck.
