..... Fernando Gonzalez at the US Open, infact, in my opinion, only three or four should be favoured over the British youngster.

He is clearly on his way to the top 5 in the world, the Chilean is in the form of his life, but doesn't quite have the potential of Murray. Who, in an interview following his latest win stated that, this is his best surface and added: " Yeah, I feel like I'm playing the best tennis of my career. I think that's shown in my results. It's my favourite part of the year, the American hard court stretch. You know, I was looking to play my best here. I have done so far".

The Scot feels that his coach ,Brad Gilbert, has added so much with his PMA ( positive mental attitude) and tactical knowledge. He has a lifetime of knowledge and experience of the tennis world that he can pass on, it really looks the dream ticket.

I cannot pass at odds against, see him as a 1.70 chance at best.
