JAMES BLAKE .........
.... should beat Tomas Berdych in New York tonight.
Blake has stepped up a gear this year, winning in Sydney, Las Vegas and Indianapolis, all on hard court. The two have met once before, in Washington last year, JB winning in straight sets.
He really dominated the stats in that match, having eleven break points to Berdych's one.
The Czech player simply had no read on the serve and this is the part of Blake's game that has improved, round by round, at Flushing Meadow and now looks in fine fettle. The partisan crowd will be 100% behind the local and should have plenty to cheer about.
Big day tomorrow, with the next series of Euro 2008 qualifiers, think we have found a couple of winners, so please check back.
4.5 points Blake to beat Berdych 1.67 betfair.
Good Luck.
