Today's Internationals ............

Actually I find them a bunch of uninspiring matches and suggest we take a very low profile.

I will discuss three matches in brief and offer a small wager in each, for anyone wanting to get involved.

First up, I like Kris Boyd in the first goal scorer market, he seems fairly priced, in a match Scotland seem sure to win. Regular readers will know, he is a striker I hold in high esteem and is in very good form, confident that he will take any chances that come his way.

1 point Kris Boyd to score first goal 4.50 ladbrokes/extrabet.

Germany are sure to go at Ireland right from the kick off. They have scored a lot of early goals in recent internationals and, once in front, are difficult to peg back. Ireland have had a very interrupted preparation for their 2008 Euro campaign and seem set to struggle, facing a Germany, still riding the euphoria of a successful World Cup.

1 point double result ht/ft Germany-Germany 2.04 betfair.

England should and will, comfortably beat Andorra, the tiny country, stuck in the middle of the Pyrenees Mountains, has a population of just 70,000 and cannot hope to compete with the major football playing nations. They have been known for a very physical approach to their matches and England will be wary of this, especially with another qualification match in midweek and the domestic and European club competitions just starting.

Favour a fast start for Steve McClaren's men and then to step off the gas a little. I like the 3.0 + on offer for the first half to produce most goals. This bet would have won in both of Andorra's opening 2006 world Cup qualification ties, with the Netherlands and Romania.

1.5 points First half with most goals England-Andorra 3.0 general (3.10 in places).

Good Luck.
