PORTSMOUTH - WIGAN

Harry Redknapp's Pompey will be brimming with confidence ahead of this all Premiership cup tie.

Portsmouth have turned their Fratton Park home into something of a fortress, they have recorded 7 wins there and only Bolton have come away with maximum points.

Wigan travel without 5-6 players, including key starters, Arjan de Zeeuw, Henri Camara and Paul Scharner. Boss Paul Jewell admits he may be forced to include his two new signings, despite having major concerns over their fitness levels.

The Latics have lost 5 in a row and are without a win in 7.

They are struggling to contain teams at set pieces, a problem that will not be helped by the absence of de Zeeuw and this is one of the home sides strength's. It is a Portsmouth victory for me and a repeat of September's 1-0 league win, would not surprise.

Harry to go home a happy man.

3 points Portsmouth -1/2 ball 1.79 asian line.

Good Luck.
