CARDIFF CITY - PRESTON NORTH END

Two promotion hopefuls meet at Ninian Park.

City will still be without the suspended Walton, but Loovens and top scorer Chopra, will be available.

PNE will be boosted by Agyemang, Davidson, Ricketts and Mellor who notched a midweek hatrick for the reserves, all looking set to take part.

I have few doubts that the visitors are the better team, but their form has see-sawed since late November. During that time, they have played 16 matches without a draw, winning 9 and losing 7.

With all the top clubs set to meet each other, in the coming weeks, Preston can steal a march on their rivals with a win today, especially with 3 of their next 4, at Deepdale.

Only drawback, this is their 3rd start in 6 days, but the squad has been rotated. North End are now a far more adventuous team under boss Paul Simpson, who favours a 4-3-3 system, home and away. On their travels, they have already collected points at Wolves, Sunderland, Derby, Stoke and Southampton, so the task tonight, should hold few fears.

4 points Preston +1/4 ball 1.75 asian line.

Good Luck.
