LEYTON ORIENT - CARLISLE UNITED

On Thursday morning, it looked like Orient could be without as many as 9 players today, however, 5 have now been declared fit to play. So ignore what you may read elsewhere, Martin Ling has a squad of 19 to choose from.

He will need them, their last two starts have been dire. They conceded 4 at home to a Brighton side, that had previously scored only once in 8 games, in midweek. Which followed a 5-0 hammering at Bournemouth last weekend, it wasn't just the goals, but the performance level, which was very poor. Surely Ling's job is on the line this afternoon.

Carlisle sit just 3 points off the playoff places and are determined to get back on track, after last weeks 4-1 loss at home to Yeovil.

That was a very strange game. United came in with a lot of confidence, after wins over Doncaster and Forest, two of the division's better teams. After dominating the first half and taking a lead into the break, it all changed in the second half, Yeovil hit 4 goals from 5 strikes, including two in stoppage time, all in all, a result which flattered the visitors.

With the draw no bet option, I have to side with Carlisle, they have had one poor 45 minute spell in 3 starts, against playoff (at least) sides. Orient have been completely outplayed by two of the division's lesser lights. Confidence is very low at Brisbane Road and once a team loses self belief, it is a long road back.

4 points Carlisle level ball 2.0 asian line.

Good Luck.
