FA CUP ...... FULHAM - TOTTENHAM

These two met at Craven Cottage in the league, just 4 weeks ago, that match ended 1-1. Spurs dominated through the first 45 minutes and early in the second half, then the hosts had a player sent off and as, so often happens, that complicated things for the team with the one man advantage.

Fulham took the lead with a penalty, before Tottenham forced a late equaliser.

Today's game has taken on huge significance for the visitors, Martin Jol's team have now lost 3 in a row, for the first time this season. They are out of contention for a Champions League place in the league and do not have to concern theirselves with the UEFA Cup for several weeks, after Feyenoord's expulsion. Following their humiliating elimination from the Carling Cup by the Arsenal youth team, they NEED progress in this cup and the prospect of some silverware.

Spurs are without Defoe and Jenas, who are both suspended today, but can call upon the services of Lennon, Gardner, Rocha and Huddlestone, all of whom return.

Fulham will be without Michael Brown and Wayne Routledge and their losses will be hard felt.

No excuses for the visitors, Jol will come under increased pressure if they lose, he has been given a lot of money to spend and expectations are high. They are my selection on the asian handicap, where we make a small profit with the draw, which I feel is a very good value bet.

5 points Tottenham +1/4 ball 1.73 asian line.

Good Luck.
