Duisburg stopped their mini slump just in time, with a very fine 3-0 win at Kaiserslautern on Monday.
That enabled them to remain one point ahead, of an ever increasing chasing pack, in the final promotion spot, next up they travel to another of those rivals, Augsburg, so victory today is vital.
They would probably have hand picked Offenbach as opponents, the visitors have collected only 2 points from a possible 24, conceding goals at the rate of just over 2 per game.
Having got back on track, Duisburg will be very motivated to stay ahead of the six clubs that are now within 5 points, especially with the two nearest teams, both at home.
