It is time for Werder and Miloslav Klose in particular, to get back on the goal scoring trail.
The hosts, who can close the gap to Schalke, at the top of the Bundesliga, to just two points with victory today, come here on the back of two 0-0 draws, which is almost unheard for the league's top scorers. Klose, the top scorer in the World Cup, has gone over 1,000 minutes without a goal, hopefully, both can correct that this afternoon.
They face a very mean defence, but one that will have to be reshuffled, as the visitors could be without as many as 5 players, including at least one, key defender. They will sit back and try to frustrate Bremen, but that is unlikely to work a 3rd time.
I confidently expect a home win and Werder to keep their Championship hopes very much alive. History is on their side, they have won the last 4, all by 3 or more goals, scoring 17. I just get the feeling they will turn it on today and we may see a big win.
