TAMWORTH - ST ALBANS

Despite a very strong finish to the week, especially on the football, where 8 of the last 10 selections won. it was not possible to turn the 7 day period around and we registered a loss, however, this was only our 14th losing week from 53, so no need to jump off the bridge just yet !

I have three selections today and will attempt to get them online as early as possible, going to start in the Conference with the Tamworth- St Albans fixture.

The Saints look to be marching out of the division after just one season, but the hosts have no intention of joining them.

With just 4 rounds to go, The Lambs look just a little too strong to be relegated. Having said that, they have lost their last three starts, but these came against some of the league's better teams and Tamworth performed creditably in each. They had previously won 5 from 8 and have determined that, with a tough trip to Stevenage up next, today is a "must win" match.

St Albans have not won since January, that's 12 without a victory, 8 losses, just one clean sheet and a total of 24 goals conceded, including 5 at home to Altrincham on Saturday. This was a terrible performance, with Saints seemingly unable to string two passes together. They are a prime example of a team devoid of confidence, that we have to oppose against very hungry opponents.

The hosts can be backed at a general 1.73 with Sunderlands/ Bet 365 and Ladbrokes, but I am going to take a chance with the higher odds available on the asian line.

4.5 points Tamworth -3/4 ball asian line 2.05 ( ko 16.00 cet). RESULT 1-1 -4.5 pts

Good luck.
