MONDAY .......... SCOTTISH CUP

AIRDRIE UNITED - KILMARNOCK

Despite a desperately poor run, spirits remain high at Kilmarnock and they are showing signs, albeit small, of better things to come. They had the best of a recent 1-1 draw with Hearts and only lost to an own goal at Celtic. They are very motivated to get a win of any sort, hoping that this will kick start their season and they will not get a better chance than this evening.

Killie want the money spinning tie with Celtic that victory will bring, but certainly not a replay tonight, as that will be played on Wednesday, in just two days time !

Airdrie looked booked for a play-off spot in Division 2, but in all likelyhood, there will still be two divisions between these two come next season. Hosts have trouble keeping a cleansheet and when they concede one, a second normally follows. Kilmarnock played away at Peterhead, who are on a very similar level to Airdrie, in the League Cup earlier in the season and won 3-0, of course, they were in better form then, but it is the best form line we have and gives an indication of the class difference. I expect a fired up Killie to progress.

5.5 points Kilmarnock -1/2 ball 1.74 asian line.

Good Luck.
