THURSDAY MORNING ........

Not a lot went right yesterday, but after reviewing the figures, losses were minimal and that is the secret to long term profits.

Twente and Schalke were comfortable winners, but the"over" and the tennis bets were losers. Dementieva and Clijsters had plenty of chances to take at least a set, at 3-3 in the first Kuznetsova looked absolutely exhausted, credit to her for the win, but she would have really struggled in a third set.

One very big positive is Goosen's first round performance, he is nicely placed at 4 under, just 3 strokes off the lead and 4 clear of Tiger, his odds have been slashed to half, or less, of the 15.0 that was recommended yesterday. Hard to see him not in contention come Sunday morning.

I will have my first selection online at, or before, 14.30 cet, please check back.

Good Luck.
