The roller coaster ride that is Elena Dementieva will be back on court today, when she faces her fellow countrywoman, Svetlana Kuznetsova.

Not sure if Dementieva served 15 or 16 double faults against Sharapova, but let's call it 4 games worth, the fact that she can still compete against the best the tour has to offer, is amazing. Many say that it is a sign of weakness, but you can also argue that it shows her incredible mental strength. Almost any other player would crumble completely, Elena just carries on.

She did actually manage to break the awesome looking Sharapova's serve, three times and not many will do that this week.

You can never be sure which Kuznetsova will turn up. In her last two tournaments, which followed a very good run in the Fall, she lost in Moscow in the first round to Vera Zvonareva,
1 and 3. Then went to Zurich, where she looked sensational in the first set with Hingis, before letting the hometown girl back into the match and struggling to win. Then, with the tournament looking at her mercy she lost 4 and 2 to Hantuchova in the semis.

Her indoor form is not the greatest and she seems very short for today's match, OK she should be favourite but 1.50 ? No thank you. If you can find circa 1.70 for Elena to take a set, that seems good value to me. If not, an outright bet on the exchanges at circa 2.96 looks next best, should she take a set, especially the first, you can trade out for a profit.

If none of these options are available to you, try a smaller bet to win the match 2.80 + is value in my book.

Clijsters leads Sharapova 4-1 in their h2h meetings and also looks overpriced at 3.0. Kim has just returned from injury, but did win her comeback tournament in Hasselt last week. Nothing two strenuous there and she should strip fitter this week and is very capable of taking Maria all the way. I like the lay of the Russian 2-0 in sets or KC to win a set if your bookie offers that.
