Big day of sport .........

In addition to the World Cup, we have the final round of the US Open golf and the Stella Artois tennis final at Queens. The remote control will be working overtime.

Going to put several very short posts online today, without too much in depth analysis.

In the early kick off in Germany, a draw is of no value to Japan, they have to go in search of the 3 points. I have to side with a very small bet on the "over", would be happier taking it if Japan had a proven goalscorer, in a country with a population of 130m, you would think they could fine one. Croatia are the likelier winners, but the odds are too short for me.

At Queens, I am surprised to see Hewittt at such big odds, he is a three time winner of this tournament and holds a 6-1 h2h advantage. Blake has been impressive, but this semi-final win was gained over a lack lustre Roddick. He freely admits that grass is his worse surface ( that may be reviewed now), in several visits to Wimbledon, he has never gone beyond the second round. Lleyton is a former winner of that Championship and one of the toughest men to beat on the circuit.

2 points Lleyton Hewitt 2.2 betfair
2 points Croatia -Japan over 2.25 goals 2.0 asian line

Good Luck.
