The dimunitive Australian .........

... Nicole Pratt has been playing tennis since her first round opponent was in kindergarten. The 33 yo Aussie has played 10 times at Wimbledon and only twice won her opening match, losing in the next round on both occasions. In addition, she has attempted and failed to qualify, on four seperate occasions. Likewise, in four visits to the pre-Wimbledon warm up event in Eastbourne, she has never qualified for the tournament proper.

She meets Jarmila Gajdosova, 14 years her junior and at opposite ends of their careers. The Slovakian has just broken into the top 100 for the first time (ranked 86) and won three ITF tournaments in a row earlier this season. She has actually won a grass court tournament, without dropping a set, albeit only Felixstowe, last summer.

Jarmila lost to Myskina at Eastbourne last week, but that is no shame and won 3 matches in qualifing, including beating the top seed, Samantha Stosur ( wr #50) in straight sets.

Doubles specialist NP has spent most of her time with a singles ranking over 100 , with her grass court record and in the twilight of a very long career, she should not beat Gajdosova.

4 points Gajdosova to beat Pratt 1.95 betfair / 1.92 centrebet.

Good Luck.
