.........30 degrees plus in Stuttgart today, the temperature on the pitch will be hotter still. Despite saying otherwise, this is a huge worry for the England team, but they are sure to be better prepared than for the Paraguay game, when they were out on their feet in the latter stages.
However, I think they will go for an early lead today and be prepared to defend it, they will not want to go chasing the game in the second half in such draining conditions. There is little value in England at the current odds, but the have scored in 15 of last 16 games and their total of 50 shots at goal, is beaten by only Germany and Brazil.
I think the best way to back England, who are the better side and who have a good record against South American opponents, is to take them to lead at half time, alongside a "cover" on a 1-0 scoreline. With a little luck we could win on both.
