Monaco sacked their coach, yet his replacement Laurent Banide, could not stop the rot, in the poor loss to Nantes and he freely admits the former giants of French football, are in crisis.
They are bottom of Ligue 1 and totally lacking in confidence, tonight they will be without Koller, Kallon, Grax and Nimani, for the derby "six pointer" with Nice.
The visitors had a fine 2-1 win over Marseille last week in another derby, they are also with 4 players, but definitely arrive in the better frame of mind.
It is a decade since they last lost at Monaco, boasting 3 wins and two draws in that period and they did the double last year, they really seem to be "up" for these south coast derbies.
Monaco are sure to turn things around eventually, but it may take a little longer. They are condceding goals at an alarming rate, 1.8 in all home games, an unheard level for a team with their pedigree.
