LA LIGA ........ HAND IN GLOVE

Going to cover two vital games in this post, RECREATIVO de HUELVA-ATLETICO MADRID and ATHLETIC BILBAO-GIMNASTIC de TARRAGONA.

Atletico have a talented group of players, with a huge potential, they have not given up on a Champions League place this season, but following defeats at direct rivals, Seville and Valencia, they have to collect all 3 points today.

Having spent a fortune in the transfer market, they have to continue to, at least contend for, one of the coveted top 4 spots. Atletico have not had much luck in recent starts and could have taken maximum points from the derby with Real last week. They have seemed happier on the road all season, where the expectation of their supporters is not so great and have averaged as many points away, as at home.

They will be without the suspended Peter Luccin and Luciano Galletti today, but whilst they will be missed, the visitors have plenty of cover. Young Sergio Aguero, who scored a goal in the reverse fixture with his hand, will come in for special treatment from the home fans, with 20,000 of them expected to wear his famous blue gloves, supplied by a local newspaper.

Briefly to the other end of the table, having dropped back into the bottom 3, Bilbao will be grateful to face basement club Gimnastic today. The visitors do look La Liga's worst team and have collected only 5 points from a possible 36, away from home.

The Basque club have never been relegated in their long and proud history and a win today, will go a long way to preserving that record, as they remain within a couple of points of the 4 clubs directly above them in the table.

They are very motivated to win today and know that in some ways, this is the biggest game of the season to date. Francisco Yeste faces a late fitness test, but regardless of whether he plays or not, they should be comfortable winners.

4 points Atletico level ball asian line 1.90.

5 points Bilbao -1/2 ball 1.70 asian line.

Good Luck.
