LIGUE 1 .......... SEDAN-PSG

Blog favourites, Paul le Guen's PSG, travel to Sedan tonight, for a real six pointer, at the foot of Ligue 1.

Having rested several players for the midweek French Cup tie, the team from the capital will have the best available eleven, on the pitch this evening. They sit just outside the drop zone on goal difference and dare not lose.

However, I do not feel that we will see a low scoring encounter. Sedan are bottom of the table, six points adrift of safety and will be forced to go forward and seek the win. Defensively they are poor and their total of 44 goals conceded, is easily the division's worse.

Both teams face difficult fixtures in the coming weeks and will not get a better chance, to collect a win. History favours goals, last 9 meetings have all produced 2 or more, at an average of over 3.77 per game. Obviously it is the "over" for me, if pushed, the visitors would be my idea of the more likely winners.

5 points over 2.25 goals Sedan-PSG 2.075 asian line.

Good Luck.
