FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL ......

IRELAND
PREMIER LEAGUE
GALWAY UNITED - ST PATRICK'S ATHLETIC

Galway have been a yo-yo side between the top two divisions in recent seasons and after promotion last year, they again look set to struggle. Already bottom of the table, a home defeat to fellow strugglers Cobh Ramblers on Monday in a real six pointer, probably confirmed supporters worst fears and they look to be "up against it "again this evening.

Saints are keen to bounce back from a home defeat to title rivals Bohemians earlier in the week, in a match where we opposed them. They remain a team with potential and are seeking a first title in a decade, last week I wrote about them ....They look a side going places, have a very wealthy new(ish) owner in Garrett Kelleher, who has big plans for the team, despite their lofty league position, three big signings are already planned for the summer transfer window and this will keep everyone on their toes. They are the league's top scorers and there are likely to be goals tonight, the last six meetings have all produced four or more.

Athletic are unbeaten on the road, where they have a 5-1-0 record and a 12-3 goal difference.

Galway have real problems in front of goal and have scored just 8 in 13 starts. Tonight they will be without the suspended Marc McCulloch and the injured Keane, Foley and Robson, skipper John Fitzgerald is a major doubt and will be a game time decision. Even their coach was moved to comment that "we showed little fight" on Monday and given their poor record against the visitors, Saints have not lost in Galway this millenium, winning three of the last four, without conceding a single goal, we have to back the away side.

6 points St Patrick's Athletic -3/4 ball 2.07 asian line.... NOW 1.92 .... WIN OR LOSE .15 BETTER FOR SUBSCRIBERS this is a huge advantage to your bankroll over the long term.

Good Luck.
